In Charlottenburg in central Berlin we are converting a 19th century hospital into apartments. The first of the series is completed and will be sold through Sotheby’s. Defined by a large bay window, the apartment has 280m2 of light flooded rooms to explore.
Under the topic of „Gravity of Light“, Sigurd Larsen participates in a series of architectural talks exploring inspirational topics relating to the future of architecture and design.

In collaboration with FSB, DEZEEN and DESIGN HOTELS, Sigurd Larsen participates in a panel talk during Salone in Milan under the topic of Neuroaesthetics, Design for the Mind.

Michelberger Farm in Spreewald south of Berlin is completed and the first guests have arrived in the hotel. On the farm you can learn about regenerative agriculture, enjoy the self produced food and sleep in one of the cosy rooms upstairs. Or you can take a bath on the roof terrace overlooking the forest and green fields.

Piperi House on the Greek island Kythnos is completed.
The house itself is inspired by Cycladic villages defined by vernacular white cubes held together by white stepped alleys.
Near Schaalsee in northern Germany we are building a house at the perimeter of an old ruin. This way the former building is turned into a green court, and the new buildings are standing where the open field used to be. The floor plan has been inverted.
The new buildings are made in red bricks similar to the ruin and this week the roof was completed.
