The Form Couple consists of two components in the process of casting concrete in a wooden form. The design is a symbiosis of the negative and the positive, each part leaving an imprint on the other. The table and chair set makes use of all the materials involeved in the process, leaving no waste.
After being used to shape the concrete, the pre-cut pieces of timber are re-used to make the chair and the legs of the table. The structure of the rough wooden surfaces is visable in the concrete and the concrete leaves its light grey tone in the wood.
