The first phases of our public school in Rheda-Wiedenbrück in the German federal state Nordrhein Westfalen is approaching the end. The canteen, library and internal street will be the first to be completed followed by study spaces and corridors for various activities.

In collaboration with the German warehouse company Hornbach, Sigurd Larsen releases the book “Werkstück 001”. The book is an instruction on how to build a lounge chair from materials bought in the warehouse.
Sigurd Larsen Design & Architecture is commissioned to design a house in Pankow in the northern part of Berlin. The area consists of old villas up to 3 storeys high and large platanus trees. An existing brick and concrete structure will be reused as a base for the new house.
Location: Pankow, Berlin.

During the international furniture fair IMM Cologne Sigurd Larsen will give 2 lectures about 2 recent furniture projects and topics related to the individual pieces and the clients behind the collaborations.

We are happy to announce that we are commissioned to design a treetop hotel in Denmark. Each hotel room will be a cabin located in a tree in the forest of Als Odde near the ocean and Mariager Fjord.
First phase of the hotel is due to completion in 2018.
As a part of the series Neu im Club organized by the magazine Der Architekt and BDA Sigurd Larsen will discuss recent and ongoing projects in Deutsches Architektur Zentrum in Berlin.

During the conference AIT Platform, Hotel Architecture in Portugal Sigurd Larsen and our project manager Simon Jendreizik will be giving a lecture about hotel design.
Sigurd Larsen is in the jury for the environmental categories at the Ukrainian Design Award 2017.
